Weekly Update, Week Ending August 2, 2019

Posillico Environmental, Inc (Posillico), National Grid’s Remediation Contractor completed 4-foot soil excavation near an existing gas line and existing utility poles. PSE&G was on site to support the utility poles within the excavation. Posillico also located an existing underground electrical line using the soft dig methods. The electrical line will be relocated prior to full-scale ISS activities in a couple weeks. Soil erosion and sediment control measures were inspected and maintained. Five Community Air Monitoring Program (CAMP) stations were operated 24 hours a day to monitor for the presence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and particulates at the Site’s property line.
Two-Week Outlook
Posillico will continue preparations for the full scale ISS activities. There will be limited construction activities while the results of the ISS pilot-scale are being evaluated, before the full-scale ISS activities can begin.
General hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
