Weekly Update, Week Ending August 30, 2019

Posillico Environmental, Inc (Posillico), National Grid’s Remediation Contractor the ISS mixing excavator and upgraded batch plant equipment. The ISS full-scale implementation in now in progress. The ISS swell material and excavated soils will be staged on site and the material will be loaded for transport at the approved disposal facility. Soil erosion and sediment control measures were inspected and maintained. Five Community Air Monitoring Program (CAMP) stations were operated 24 hours a day to monitor for the presence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and particulates at the Site’s property line.

Two-Week Outlook

Posillico will continue with the full-scale ISS process. Posillico will continue to stockpile excavated soil and ISS material to be transported off-site to the approved disposal facility.

General hours of operation will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
